Work 01 - New Practice Book

‘Work 01’ offers a detailed description of our projects and how the practice has developed since its formation in 1993. The book demonstrates the exploration of our architectural strategy, ‘contextual civic modernism’, a recognition that much of a building’s value lies in how it interacts with its context, coupled with a modernist approach of meeting the needs of users and occupiers through new forms of construction and spatial design.

Working within the grain and context of Central London is a recurrent theme of our architecture. Finding and adding value and making the most of sites and existing buildings that others might consider redundant has become our forte. This background has led to interesting new commissions including three Crossrail over site developments and further large scale residential projects. Working to the highest international standards, the practice continues to grow and develop and is currently undertaking work in Copenhagen, a city known for its progressive urban developments.
