10 Salisbury Square Named Finalist at the AJ Retrofit & Reuse Awards 2026

News   20th July 2026

0 Salisbury Square has been shortlisted for the AJ Retrofit & Reuse Awards 2026 in the Future Reuse category. This prestigious award celebrates visionary, innovative and forward-looking architectural proposals still on the drawing board that push the boundaries of material reuse, circular economy, and retrofit thinking.

At the heart of the City´s Fleet Street Conservation Area, Oriel St Brides transforms into a cohesive, harmonious building, delivering an uplifting environment centred on wellbeing and community. Integrating cultural sensitivity with innovation and re-use, the scheme retains 90% of existing fabric and innovates the existing façade to enhance the setting of its neighbouring heritage assets. Limited to localised high-impact interventions, a striking four-storey oriel window frames views of St Bride’s, creating a strong sense of place and connection to the City. Once complete, the transformative scheme will strengthen civic entity and revitalise the public realm, into a more inclusive, vibrant, and climate-resilient part of the city.

The winners will be announced at the AJ Retrofit & Reuse Awards on Thursday 24 September 2026 at the Troxy London. We look forward to attending the event.
