As the built environment continues to navigate the transition towards net zero, the article explores how we can take a more holistic approach to whole life carbon - from design and construction through to operation, refurbishment and reuse.
Anja shares her perspective on the importance of consistent, evidence-based approaches to carbon assessment and the newly published UKGBC Whole Life Carbon Framework, alongside the UK Net Zero Carbon Buildings Standard, as a practical tool for better decision-making throughout a building’s lifecycle.
