Inspiring Future Architects: Sophia Yu Brings Tree House Design to Pilgrims’ Way Primary

A fantastic experience for our Architectural Assistant, Sophia Yu, who recently took part in two workshops with Year 2 pupils at Pilgrims’ Way Primary School as part of her role as a Royal Institute of British Architects Ambassador.
In the first workshop, Sophia introduced herself and JRA, shared insights into life as an architect, and talked about the work we do. The children then began designing and planning their own imaginative tree houses.
During the second workshop, the pupils brought their ideas to life by building tree house models, showcasing their creativity, problem-solving skills, and enthusiasm for design.
It was wonderful to inspire the next generation of designers and watch their ideas develop from sketch to model.
