Project Spotlight: International House

International House has been a key JRA project for the past decade, with the latest phase of refurbishment completed in December 2025, marking another milestone in the ongoing evolution of this landmark London office building.

Building on the design principles established during earlier refurbishment phases, the project delivers a contemporary CAT A office fit-out featuring exposed services throughout the workspace. The WC facilities have been completely reimagined with a refined material palette that references the character of the previous refurbishment, creating a cohesive design language across the building.

Situated on the north bank of the River Thames, adjacent to the Tower of London and Tower Bridge, International House was originally constructed as part of the St Katharine Docks redevelopment between 1977 and 1983. Over the past ten years, a series of carefully considered refurbishment phases has transformed the building, with this latest project completing the remaining Level 4 office accommodation and WC cores.
