Sharing insights on retrofit and reuse while inspiring students to shape a more sustainable built environment

John Robertson Architects were delighted to participate in the Practice Open Day at the Architectural Association last Wednesday.

Project Director Andy Thomas and Architect Waj Dadabhoy were pleased to take part in the event, engaging with eager and enthusiastic students and recent graduates throughout the day. They had some excellent conversations around retrofit and reuse, areas that sit firmly at the heart of our work at JRA.

It was particularly encouraging to see the importance of retrofit being embedded into the formative education of the next generation of architects. Even more inspiring was the genuine passion shown by students, who demonstrated a strong commitment to doing more and doing better for the built environment.
