JRA are delighted to announce that Bureau, 90 Fetter Lane has been shortlisted in the AJ Retrofit Awards. The building is a finalist in the Office 5,000m2 and over category. The awards recognise and celebrate design, engineering and construction excellence that prolongs and improves the life of the built environment.
JRA carried out the refurbishment of Bureau, 90 Fetter Lane for Evans Randall Investors. The benchmark redevelopment of an existing 1980s office building now offers flexible retail/café opportunities on Norwich Street and prime office space on Fetter Lane. A new double height entrance enhances the street level presence and welcomes users through an engaging barrier free reception space, adopting state-of-the-art real-time facial recognition technology. Thoughtful attention to detail creates cohesive spaces finished to the highest standard using a stylish and considered palette of materials.
Tenant’s wellbeing and sustainability are at the heart of the project, with feature staircases designed to encourage use, new full-height glazing to maximise natural light, expansive terraces on the upper levels and market-leading cycle and changing facilities.
The winners will be announced on 11th September at the Brewery in London.
