Launch of the LETI Climate Emergency Design Guide

JRA was delighted to attend the launch of the LETI Climate Emergency Design Guide at New London Architecture on the 27th January. JRA’s Head of Sustainability, Dr Colin Beattie, was a contributor to both the Guide and the supplementary Embodied Carbon Primer, which sets out targets and benchmarks for achieving net zero carbon usage in the built environment. The London Energy Transformation Initiative (LETI) is a network of built environment professionals working to create a Zero Carbon future for London.

JRA have consistently championed sustainability targets across all our projects, leading us to be recognised with the BREEAM Champion Award in 2019.  In recognition of the urgent need to achieve a Zero Carbon economy JRA have developed a range of Life Cycle Services to offer to both clients and other practices looking to understand the whole life carbon impacts of their designs.  These services include Life Cycle Assessments of buildings and Life Cycle Costings, and we believe JRA is at the vanguard of this approach.
