Rooftop Reconnection Drinks

Last night JRA and Civic Engineers jointly hosted clients, other consultants and colleagues for rooftop reconnection drinks at the practice’s award winning retrofit, Cannon Green in the City of London. The team worked together to reposition the building, creating a new mixed use workplace concept, pavilion and amenities including the roof terrace. The event was an opportunity to welcome people back to the City as businesses begin to return to offices. Guests enjoyed 360 degree views across London’s skyline and speeches from JRA Director John Robertson and Civic Engineers Director Gareth Atkinson. Architects’ Journal’s Sustainability Editor, Hattie Hartman also spoke and highlighted the importance of putting retrofit first on the road to zero carbon, as demonstrated by sustainable retrofit projects like Cannon Green.
