Amanda Montiel
Amanda is an Associate Architectural Designer at JRA. She has excellent skills in conceptual design for interior architecture and has worked across residential and commercial sectors.
Prior to joining the practice, Amanda worked on a range of high-end residential projects and developed experience across sectors for a practice specializing in housing, culture, education, and sports. At JRA, Amanda has been integral in developing interior concept designs, producing drawings and sourcing materials.
Amanda has worked on a number of key office retrofits in prominent London locations. These include developing the refurbishment at Westferry Circus in Canary Wharf, where she prepared drawings from stage one to three and the major interior renovation at Johnson Gardens in Farringdon to deliver CAT A office space and new rooftop terraces, working throughout all stages.
More recently, Amanda worked at The Northcliffe, the striking 1920s former Daily Mail headquarters. Here, JRA extensively refurbished and repositioned the office building. Amanda helped develop the concepts for the interiors, specifying furniture and finishes, and assisting on the project coordination. She also completed the headquarters CAT ‘B’ fit out for a prominent development company, taking the designs from concept to completion, including furniture specification.
Amanda is currently leading the refurbishment of 155 Tooley Street, the proposals include the creation of a new rooftop terrace, new end of trip facilities, CAT ‘A’ office space and the refurbishment of the facade.
