Associate

Tien is an associate who joined JRA in 2016. He has 18 years’ built-project experience in both new-build and refurbishment projects within commercial, retail, residential, healthcare, leisure, and sport sectors.

This extensive practice means that Tien is well versed in undertaking Employer’s Requirements from Stage 3 architectural design, managing its translation into fully coordinated set of technical design packages for clients’ sign-off and Stage 4 to 5 construction.

Prior to joining JRA, Tien worked on some very prestigious leisure & sport facilities including The London 2012 Olympics Copper Box Arena and The Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Club Centre Court. He was also involved with the award-winning Fetal Medicine Research Institute facility at King’s College Hospital.

At JRA, his completed projects include the refurbishment of Bracken House Grade II* listed building in the City of London, and the highly sustainable TJX headquarters building at the TJX forever Campus in Watford.

Tien is currently apart of JRA’s Client Monitoring Team (CMT) and as a Monitoring Architect, he brings project leadership and strong technical design skills to the role of Client Monitoring and has a demonstrable track record for monitoring large, fast track D&B schemes in close collaboration with client’s design and contractor teams.

His ability and track record as a Monitoring Architect are demonstrated by his technical role on large commercial projects, such as The Northcliffe, BMA House & Peterborough Court.
