80 Charlotte Street is a mixed use development situated in Fitzrovia, London, designed by Make Architects. JRA is Client Monitoring Architect on the project for Derwent London, with Multiplex as main contractor.
The development is formed of three buildings spanning a total of 35,300m2, a ten storey office block offering extensive workspace, and two residential blocks, one adjacent to the offices and a converted refurbished building in an adjoining block on Whitfield Street. Together they offer 55 apartments, with a mixture of private and affordable tenures. Both the residential and office elements provide access to extensive terraces. A café and restaurant, as well as a new park on Chitty Street, complete the development.
JRA’s role on the project includes monitoring contractual compliance on behalf of the client, and overseeing project designs and drawings. 80 Charlotte Street achieved practical completion in June 2020.
