John Robertson Architects is Client Monitoring Architect at Soho Place, a new build mixed use development above Tottenham Court Road’s Crossrail and London Underground Station. The project has been designed by Allford Hall Monaghan Morris and JRA is working for client Derwent London.
Situated at the junction of Charing Cross Road and Oxford Street, Soho Place is formed of two buildings of ten storeys and nine storeys respectively, covering a total of 27,000m2, with public realm in between. Once completed, the buildings will offer prime office space, retail, and a new theatre.
JRA’s role on the project is to work on behalf of the client to coordinate compliance, ensuring that all contractual obligations are met and that designs and drawings are carried out to the highest standards. The team is working with Project Manager Gardiner & Theobald and Contractor Laing O’Rourke. Soho Place is due for completion in 2021.
