Grainhouse

Client: Helix

Grainhouse is a former seed merchants’ warehouse in Covent Garden. JRA complemented the newly unified five building complex by designing the fit out of the ground and lower ground floors for Helix Property Advisor’s new headquarters. JRA intervened in the historic structure, creating a new entrance, mezzanine and stairs, and optimised the site through careful space planning to provide a reception and lobby, workspace for Helix’s 70 strong team and 3 meeting rooms. Amenities include a kitchenette, co-working and touchdown spaces. The team reused furniture extensively and achieved a sophisticated, hospitality style throughout, which softened the industrial warehouse aesthetic.
