Johnson Gardens is a large office campus occupying a prominent site of an entire urban block in Hatton Garden, London EC1. The project sits at the heart of London’s new social media hub in Farringdon.

Arax Properties commissioned JRA to improve and enhance the existing commercial role and function of Johnson Gardens, to ensure the new estate meets the needs of the estate occupants for the long-term.

The penthouse office triplex of Johnson Building has been refurbished with finishes and lighting sympathetic to the original fabric of the building, and provided with brand new roof terraces.

As a result of the reconfiguration of the estate-wide amenities, new end of trip facilities have been delivered for all the office tenants across the estate, offering better overall flexibility, quality and connectivity within Johnson Gardens.

A large new roof terrace over the Courtyard Building currently under construction, the introduction of living walls at the entrance of Johnson Building and a landscaped courtyard complete the offer of new outdoor and indoor amenity space for all users of Johnson Gardens.

The project achieved BREEAM ‘Excellent’ and it is London’s first accredited Fitwell Community building.
